Super fun place to come to with friends and family! Our instructor was super helpful telling us the different techniques to throwing an axe (to those who are new). Fun atmosphere, they even have a restaurant in the back so you can eat while you throw. They also had posters of different games you could try out while throwing axes. Great experience overall, will for sure be coming back for more dates.

You will not regret this place at all!!! The only regret I have is reserving 1 hour instead of 2! This place is fun! They have games posted on the wall so you can switch it up! Zach was our “lumberjack host” and he did really good! He was very nice and even gave the boyfriend a pointer or two when I was beating him! Hahaha! I will definitely be back and will be bringing more friends this time to try the games that require multiple players and teams.

We had so much fun as a family here! Lumberjack Kelsey took AMAZING care of us and made sure that even the hesitant thrower in our group hit a bullseye 🎯 before our time was over! Kelsey is a major asset!!

I went with a big group and we all had a ton of fun! The staff was very friendly and good about putting up with our rowdy group of 20 year olds.

What a fun place to go and hang out! They let us bring in our own food and drinks and we had a ball throwing hatchets! A bit of a learning curve, but it was a fun challenge and the games they invited us to try made the experience even more fun. I would definitely go again. We had a guys night out and we all loved it! This was my first experience axe throwing and it was so FUN! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and gave pointers and tips on throwing. The facility was clean and comfortable. The music fit the mood as well.

Far more entertaining than I would have thought. Nothing like watching your partners eyes turn into vortices of swirling darkness before she buries a piece of sharpened steel into wooden planks from 15 feet away. The guys seemed to treat this like a more physical game of horse shoes. The ladies treated this like rage therapy. Fun for the whole family.

Me and my dad came here to pass the time. It was insanely fun. They had a great staff who gave us plenty of tips on how to improve our throws. They also have a good price for entry. If you are looking for a fun time and good exercise, I definitely recommend going axe throwing at Heber’s Hatchets.

We went this weekend for my birthday. We were looking for something different to do and had a blast. the worker was very helpful and got us started and then provided help to those that need a little more assistance. I was worried about the safety aspect of throwing hatchets but the faculty really knows what they are doing and has policies to keep safe. We only had 3 in our group so the one hour session was perfect for us. I would recommend and would like to go back.

So fun! My sister and I went after we saw Jacob on the news and it looked fun! We wore closed toe shoes to get in. It was a little pricey but I didn’t mind paying to support local business. It was 31 and some change for my sister and I for one hour.
We became pros after some instruction. We learned 3 throws and played three games which took the whole hour. Didn’t get tired or bored. The posters on the wall were fun and all hatchet related…. I’m a huge LOTR fan.
I hope they host tournaments soon! They also accept minors. On street parking I believe. Super fun date night idea or group date idea!

Get your axe in here and try it. It wasn’t until I went to another (less good) axe throwing place (in Idaho Falls) that I realized just how top notch Heber Hatchets is. First and foremost, the axes are sharp and solid. This makes the whole experience worthwhile. Additionally, the ambiance is clean and easy going. They have soda on tap in large lumberjack cups. Many axe throwing game suggestions. And super friendly/chill staff. Also, did I mention their axes are sharp and solid. Seriously, so lame if that wasn’t the case.

Loved it! Three of us just left. They do have an orientation but you need it and he didn’t start our count down for the hour until after he was finished so don’t worry about that. The throwing was safe and so much fun. I want to go again soon. Such a unique thing. Very friendly personnel, they even offered to take a picture of us afterwards with the hatchets. Highly recommend!
