About Our Axe Throwing Company

"I live in the beautiful mountain valley town of Heber City, UT. Heber has oodles of fun outdoor activities within close proximity, but winters are long and cold and there are relatively few indoor activities where families can gather and have fun together. In late 2017 I stumbled upon the new and up-and-coming sport of axe throwing. I was invited to an axe throwing event with some colleagues. Everyone had a fantastic time learning to throw, playing some games, and doing a little tournament!

That night when I returned home the idea of bringing this activity to Heber City, Utah was born. We figured if any community could appreciate the unique entertainment of axe throwing, it would be the people in the mountains of Utah! We opened our first location in 2018 and called it Heber Hatchets! Other locations throughout Utah, Idaho, and Washington states soon followed.

The Heber Hatchets brand is all about family-friendly fun. We believe that it's not just our high-quality venues and fun games that have earned us so many loyal fans, but it's also our memorable brand. A visit to Heber Hatchets isn't just a date night, corporate event, or party—it's an experience!
